My Experience
Outside of the therapy room,
I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LPCC), and I'm so glad you're here!
I know reaching out for therapy isn’t always easy. Finding someone you genuinely feel comfortable opening up to can make all the difference, and I don’t take that trust lightly.
Talk About It Co. was created with intention, care, and a belief that real change begins with real conversations. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported as we work through whatever brought you here.
to therapy is compassionate and supportive, but also honest and authentic. I believe you deserve a therapist who brings their genuine self into the room—not someone who simply sits back and listens, but someone who walks alongside you, challenges you when needed, celebrates your growth, and helps you move toward the life you want.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, but also encouraged enough to grow. Sometimes the patterns that helped us survive are the same ones that keep us feeling stuck, and therapy can be the place where we begin to understand them, shift them, and create something healthier.
you’ll usually find me trying out a new recipe, teaching myself how to sew, binge-watching one of my favorite shows, spending time with my family, or planning my next adventure. I love finding joy in the little moments and making time for the things that bring connection, creativity, and balance into my life.
I believe that who we are outside of therapy matters too. Growth doesn’t only happen in the therapy room—it happens in the everyday moments, relationships, and experiences that shape our lives.
I believe therapy is most effective when it is personalized to the person sitting across from me. While I utilize evidence-based approaches, I don’t believe therapy is a one-size-fits-all process. I draw from a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Attachment Theory, and other person-centered and relational approaches. Together, we’ll find the tools and strategies that best fit your needs, goals, and experiences.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from New Mexico Highlands University in 2021. During my training, I worked as a Mental Health Technician at the Children’s Psychiatric Center at UNM Hospital and completed my internship at a residential treatment center serving children and adolescents.
After graduation, I spent three years practicing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) before obtaining my independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LPCC) in 2026. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals ranging from ages 5 - 65, supporting clients through challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma, emotional regulation, borderline personality disorder, relationship struggles, communication difficulties, executive functioning challenges, and self-confidence.
My experience working with a wide range of individuals has taught me that every person’s story is different—and therapy should be a space where your unique experiences, strengths, and goals are honored.
If you actually read this entire page… first of all, I’m impressed. 😂
But in all honesty, I appreciate you taking the time to get to know a little more about me. Finding the right therapist is important, and I hope this helped you get a feel for who I am, how I work, and what therapy with me can look like.
If you’re feeling like we might be a good fit, I’d love the opportunity to connect, answer any questions you may have, and see how I can support you.
Ready to talk about it?
